Hubby was on his way back to sit on the bed

 to feed range cubes to the new girls.

I was sliding over to drive

brushing my head on the rearview mirror,

 which caused it to shatter onto the seat.

I'm not superstitious....

not anymore.

That's fear.

However,  I do believe in signs,

 (and that was a pretty freaky one)

 so I looked it up.

It was good,

as I believe most signs are.

Broken mirror: (AI)

A sign of release, protection or energy clearing.

(Roman belief)

A positive sign that the glass absorbed 

a major negative event or curse meant for you,

sacrificing itself to protect you.

(Middle eastern/Victorian belief)

Shattering old, stagnant, or harmful energy

to make space for fresh light,

and transformation.

you often rush past the very moment

that offers the greatest opportunity

for self-recognition

slow down &

explore your life 

brokenness is a pathway to blessing

it's a way of uncovering your true

potential

God will never tell you to hurry forward blindly

listen patiently and persistently

even when doing so stretches your faith

you will be guided one step at a time

when all the details are in their proper places

for your good

then you will be instructed how to proceed

resist self-pity

ignore negative counsel

brokenness is painful

God works at deep levels

to deal with our issues

brokenness brings clarity and focus to your life

once you allow it the space to work

clarity will come

to get from where you are

to where you are going

you have to be willing to be in-between

be willing to let go of what is old & familiar

being in-between isn't fun

but it's necessary

and it won't last forever

be willing to live for the truth

you may feel like your standing still

but you're not

 you're still moving forward

where you are is the place for you to be

have faith it's moving you toward 

something good

stop struggling & 

allow Him to carry you

you have agency to build something in your

life that is both beautiful and lasting

use the right materials
