Identify where...

...you want to grow or change
then start dreaming about
possibilities for getting there.

one of my favorite daily "do's" #10minutewalk

notes...

this week I'm taking my own advice
 and drinking more water
(1/2 body weight in ounces)
dinking out of a 32 oz. mason jar full in the fridge
has made it easier to keep track
 avg. 120 oz. a day
noticing my energy level perking up
so is the house
day #3
the birdfeeders are on the ground every morning
guessing a coon
setting the livetrap tonight

dream beyond where you are

what could you do with an extra hour today?

when you choose to be present
there is room for learning, growth,
healing and restoration

begin where you are
and make the right choices for you
what can you do to make your life better?

where are you leaking your
energy and your time?

you won't be distracted by comparison
if you're captivated by purpose
most everything will fade into the background

if you are going to step into a new thing
you are going to have to do things
a little differently

blaze some new trails

'change is easier & offers more options
than you think'

"there are over 293 ways to make
change for a dollar"

quit limiting the way you think
about enacting change in any
area of your life

try new creative ways of
walking towards the changes you want to see

A healthy body produces energy
a healthy mind produces joy

joy does not depend on the outer conditions
of your life

'cut back on joy-reducing thoughts
increase  joy-producing thoughts'

change your mental diet

nourish and hydrate your soul

now is always a good time to start
you will learn as you go
you will find your way
take a step

the choices you make today
will impact your future

be well...

Trust Him...

...to take your broken &
make it beautiful.

notes...

 checking on the new cows
and they were nowhere in sight.
we set out on a search.
one just happened to peek out from under a cedar tree
and hubby noticed it
on our second trip around the pasture.
hubby forgot to bring some feed along
so we made another trip to bring
 them a treat.
it was a good hiding spot
we could have searched all afternoon.
Summer is here.

help comes in the form of people who
don't run away

prayer shifts the focus away from your problem
to one who can handle it

those who truly love you will respect
your priorities
even if they don't understand them

pause to see the blessings
& say thank you

you go a long way toward happiness
just by thinking in new ways

remember the difference between
news & truth

'news comes to let you know what your
dealing with'

'God (truth) comes to help you
process all you are dealing with'

it's not about you handling it
it's about you handling it with God

your offer the greatest blessing to the people
you love
when you lean into the truth
about yourself & them
in the name of love

slow your roll
engage
take it moment by moment

ditch crummy self-talk

get excited by possibilities &
the challenge to stretch yourself

invite newness into your life

embrace change

be spontaneous

have fun

lighten up
you won't be punished by God

you were created to be fully human

enjoy the gift of being alive
being fully human
& being who you are

have fun with life

be well...

There is no plan B...

...for your life.
You're still in plan A.

notes...

"God's dream for your life is bigger than your dream.

The biggest barrier to your dream is the past.

It's never to late to get back on track.

God has not shelved your dream.

You can prepare and dream for the future.

God's truth is truth, even if we don't like to hear it.

All of us fall short of God's dream for our life.

Honestly accept responsibility for your dumb choices.

Blame- B Lame

You lie to yourself more than anyone else.

Pain now, pleasure later?
Or
Pleasure now,  pain later?

Your going to recover.

Bring good out of bad.

Don't waste your pain.
Help others.
Redeem it.

Your mistakes are part of God's plan.

God can unscramble an egg.

God's original plan for your life
is still in full force.

It is never too late...

You cannot expect to receive
what your unwilling to give.

Courageously face the future with faith."

be well...

Do you....

....want to go with me later to preg some cows?

notes...

Mmm...maybe...
Yes! I will go. It'll be fun.
Plus I have been wanting to for a long time.

I woke up thinking I was going to make
this the best day...I thought that yesterday too...
I used to think it was up to someone else.

It's soupy outside.

I've been in the purging mood lately,
and that makes me happy.

 find something greater than you
and surrender to it's grandeur

you get the steps as you go

invite harmony, curiosity
and wisdom into your life

enjoy the moment
you don't need to complete
anything
just breathe

refresh yourself

focus on the goal of your faith

listen to the right voices in your life
and drown out the voices of
doubt, fear, and insecurity

listen to your dreams
& your values

awareness takes practice

speak of love, beauty, trust,
acceptance, grace and forgiveness

you can't honor God if you don't
honor one another

be kind

love one another

be well...

what now you do not know."

Most of the time...

...we just don't know
the whole story.

Give God some room to write
in the margins of the story
you came up with.

notes...

We had 3 inches at the end of the day...
almost 4 by this morning.
Sitting on the stoop listening to
the Wrenn singing,
Otis howling in the distance
and two cats growling at each other.
Polly is right here.
Hubby asked if I wanted an Arbor for our
Anniversary.
"Steel is the eleventh anniversary gift." he says.
Umm...Yes!!
What a great idea!
The brush pile transformed itself into a garden
& covered up with morning glories
and a few Zinnias too.
I'm easily mesmerized by the droplets on everything.
The cats are growling again...
this time it's Polly.

..."but those who plan what is good
find love and faithfulness."
(Prov. 14:22)

challenge your disempowering
stories
you have to believe it's possible to
change a crappy story
then take action

jump in
go deep
there will be setbacks and difficulties too
but don't let that keep you in the shallow
end of your life

sometimes you just need to look a little longer
and a little harder

when setbacks come
treat them as a learning experience

setbacks are the path to
your future

refuse to waiver in your faith

continue on in
wholehearted faith

your dream makes the potential
struggle worth it

actions show that your faith is real

communicate love in
every way possible

be well...

Every life...

...'needs a little space.
It leaves room for the good things
to enter it.'

notes...

Today, I'm amazed at how everything
seams to find it's own order.

open your hands and your heart to receive
this day as a precious gift

the best way to dazzle God
is to go be you

you don't have to pretend to be
a certain way to get the acceptance
& security you need

cultivate a committed mind

be teachable

listen carefully

fix your thoughts on what's true & honorable,
& right, & pure, & lovely, &admirable.
( Philippians 4:8)

resist outside clutter

trust where the flow is going

let go and allow the old skin to shed

'there is a place that you are to fill,
something you are to do,
which no one else can do.'

come to terms with the natural order
of life itself

be gracious with yourself

listen to what your body needs

be well...

Love finds us....

...where we are,
not where we were.

Blondie, 62 and Buddy

notes...

There was a knock on the door...
Ellie came to visit.
We had left the gate open to the road...
Blondie and Buddy kept with us as we drove back...
we sped up, they sped up,
we sped up, they did the happy dance
and sped up too.
We almost didn't win.
T1 likes to come up an nibble on me.

your renewed heart
will be better
than before

be forward thinking

God meets you where you are
uses your story
and guides you into a better story

you are a mosaic
of those who have loved you

give up the desire to have full control-
you don't

attempting to control things
will never solve the problem
it only makes things wonky
and ends up controlling you

you get to choose who &
what you allow in your life...
(thoughts, habits, beliefs....)

explore different solutions

make choices to improve the
quality of your life

you are designed to change
when you choose to

the way you live
will influence future generations

Be very careful, then, how you live-
not as unwise but as wise...
Ephesians 5:15

let go of beliefs
that do not serve you well

believe that change comes from you

get better at things you
know will help you

ask
seek
knock

request
search
action

deep breath in...
exhale...
be aware of your moments,
be well...
xoxo

Only to discover it was the only way

and you can be sure that the people who
love you know them all."

"It's not easy--loving someone through
the chinks in their armor--
especially when the love they return
is so often trapped inside."

Wake up...

...and seize the day.
You can make today whatever
you want it to be.

notes...

I was getting ready to mow the yard this morning.
The forecast said "rainy days ahead".
Plot twist.
I grabbed my camera and headed to the zoo instead.
The yard could wait.
There was time for both.

follow the steps as they appear

you will be shown the way

there is a time to wait
and a time to act

let go of old beliefs and messages
that drive you into the crazies

give yourself permission to be who you are
and do it the way you do it

express yourself in your own unique way

practice bringing harmony into your life

inspiration isn't about
what you're gathering together
and putting out
inspiration is about what you're
taking in

breathe deep
and take in the world around you

open yourself up to it all

be well
