 I'm writing in my journal on the way to the farm

doing the chores early to beat the heat

 and taking Jesus along

for the ride. 

persist

turn down the chaos of everyday life

when the noise around you fades

tune into the soft whisper

align your heart with love

your feelings change after your focus changes

if you feel terrific about life

that's a reliable indicator

that your most recent thinking has been 

healthy and constructive

make wise decisions

you can make today whatever you 

want it to be

you have the power to create 

your own reality

do not be afraid to be different 

from others

the path you are called to travel

is exquisitely right for you

see yourself clearly

notice your reactions

go within

nourish yourself

appreciate the blessings

let go of what you don't need

so what you do 

can show up

make space

the good can't get in 

if it's blocked by junk

release it

listen

don't miss God's activity

direction & intervention

in your circumstances

and miss His

 joy

peace 

power 

love & wisdom

and the very purpose

for which you were

created

dark thoughts keep you

away from beauty

darkness isn't always destructive

sometimes it's just distracting

hope is always eager to burst

onto the scene

but you need to be there

to catch it

you can't be all run & no stop

practice being a better listener

only your choices and

perceptions can determine

the quality of 

your experience

trust yourself

The coon is back. 

I read it is not good to relocate them,

 I love animals....

I decided to leave a dish of food out.

I was sitting on the porch

 writing in my journal,

 and something flew up and brushed my arm.

A bird landed on the pillow behind my back,

it startled me...and I startled it when I jumped.

I'm pretty sure I made my best loaf of sourdough this morning.

I decided to make a fresh "start" last week...

my last loaf was definitely meh.

Love sees the perfection in the person

& in the moment

take time to be still and

consider how beautiful

life really is

the more you give and receive love

the more you'll see truth

you are hugely responsible 

for creating your own reality

January 7, 2026

Yesterday I started off on the wrong note.

So I packed my book, journal and snacks, and 

went off grid.

This morning I felt great.

 I sat down at the table in the stream of sunshine,

with my coffee, and suddenly broke into tears.

I started writing, had a realization, a break-through,

and then a come-to-Jesus-moment.

I sat in stillness....chased off the stray cat in the backyard,

finished my coffee...then

put a loaf of sourdough in to bake.

...those moments of clarity that come in the

seemingly mundane.

What if the moments we don't give a second thought to

were the moments that mattered most of all?

Journaling lately....

"Change the world from where you are, 

while your moving toward where you wish you were."

Start. Just take a step.

"Sometimes the 1st step isn't to fix the painful things in 

our lives or anyone else's

but to mourn them. It's an important 1st. step in our

own healing."

Sitting in the pasture giving Blondie some cuddles, then here comes baby.

then soon, mama-red-white-faced-cow #55 

joins our huddle.

Their interest piqued by me sitting in the grass...

my interest piqued by their floppy ear tags flashing fives.

Of course, 

I looked it up as soon as hubby and I got back

to the pickup.

Number 5...
