It Grows

Pause and reflect on what you've
been thinking about, and focusing on.
Are you tuned into worry, stress, or limiting beliefs?
Did you know what you focus on grows?
It impacts how you feel, what you experience,
and it becomes your reality.

Wouldn't you rather fill your day with things like...
Gratitude,
happiness, faith and worthiness?
You have the power to switch the channel.
What do you want to grow?
Focus on that.

On Coping

Life is full of little challenges.
Breathe. Remain calm.
Being uptight and uneasy only makes it all more difficult.

Eight Guidelines for Coping
~Norman Vincent Peale~ (Published 1976)

1. Don't panic. Keep calm. Use your head. Think.
2. Never be overwhelmed. Never dramatize the difficulty.
Affirm confidently, "God and I can handle it."
3. Practice "de-confusion."  To do so, write on paper
every element of the difficulty, mentally clarifying each part.
4. Skip the postmortems. Take the problem from where you are
at this instant.
5.Look for an answer, not for the whole problem, but
for the next step.
6. Practice creative listening. Get quiet so that insights
can come through your mind.
7. Always ask what is the right thing to do, for
nothing wrong ever turns out right.
8. Keep thinking, keep believing, keep working,
keep praying.

Spring

" If you want to fly, you have to give up
the things that weigh you down."

Spring is definitely my favorite season.
I feel adventurous and spontaneous,
and wildly open to the new.

Feeling grateful

Celebrated Birthdays over the weekend.
Too much sugar. Detoxing today.
This song came on, as I was returning from the market.
It resonates with my mood.

Excited that the new course module came out,
and it's on Spirituality.
My Dad called, and it's Bachelor night....
...there are just so many things to fill me with gratitude.
