Sounds

Because....

 In the distance I could hear the sound of the train whistle blow.

My grandpa retired from the railroad.

 And when Brandon was little, we would rush to the railroad tracks

to watch the trains pass.

                                                 So when I heard the sound of the whistle blow...

I dashed off to find the track.

Because there is something strangely comforting

to listen to the rumble of the train again.

Advice

and we're busy making some wonderful memories.

Porch

Because one of my favorite things to do this Summer,

has been sitting on the porch.

I spend the morning drinking my coffee,

listening to the choir of birds, and reading my devotionals...

while the squirrels scurry about.

Then my guy joins me...and we search

for new blooms amongst 

the wildflowers...

as he kisses me good-bye and heads off to work.

I usually have books, and chalk, and 

sometimes music playing...

and a dog, a cat, and a goat.

And last night the twinkle lights mingled with the moon

making everything look dreamy....

so I practiced taking night shots

with my camera...

and hubby came out to join me too. :)

Because...hubby and I have been together for six years. *love
