Rock

Because...

"It is necessary ... for a man to go away by himself ...

to sit on a rock ... and ask,

"Who am I, where have I been,

and where am I going? "

I am making myself take some time to sit on my "rock".

I don't know if it's the change in seasons ?...or a birthday coming up ?...or 

maybe it's just that I've been running more on auto-pilot,

and need to get back to manual mode!

Any how .... I feel some changes...

and the need to sit and be still for a while.

Who knows where it will lead ?

Because....

We didn't do much of anything.

It was nice.

Because...I believe in the power of a good road trip,

good music, savoring family, strong coffee, laughter

and LOVE.

Ohio bound...

We traveled to my nephews wedding last weekend.

It. Was. Perfect.

Something about being with family and old friends.

It fuels me.

My perspective shifts.

I come home feeling whole...

and strong.

Ready to change some things.

That's the good stuff !

Horse

Because...there was an impromptu visit to a ranch,

dust on our shoes,

whinnies and nickers,

and horses.

And that moment, 

when I crouch down and one

comes close, and we are eye to eye.

It. Was. Magical.

Blinked

Because.... on Monday morning my sweet man and I

headed out to the farm.

Our first stop coffee and donuts.

And now it's Thursday.

This week has flown by.

It is definitely time for a little order to be restored in my life.

Crazy week.

I find myself aimlessly walking around in my jammies

today and it's almost noon.

I guess there is nothing wrong with that. Right ?

I wish I could all day.

I am starting another photography class this afternoon...

so I better get.
